<  Maps  ~  material substrength?

What does this mean exactly? Does it affect gameplay in some way?

I tested this a little. It looks like lower percent means it's harder to break the material but I'm not sure.

You are indeed correct. Some materials are harder than others. The substrength specifies the effective percentage of the regular sub.

100% means the material will fall apart very easily whilst 0% means it won't fall apart at all (the dark and red-glowing hardened lava thingie is 0% for example).

This can be used to create some defining walls that players probably won't try to maul through. Helps keep some structure of the map.
